Numerous problems. I must get this computer working well, as I depend on internet shopping because of disability. Keep losing restore points. Lost one in an hour just tonight! It's somewhat minor things like occasional pages not opening fully, couple nights ago Windows Desktop Manager stopped out of the blue and restarted 'puter. I did find this same problem on some site and have saved info from MiniTool Box, which I can post if needed. I checked list installed programs, last 10 event viewer errors and I believe list users, partitions and memory size. The above mentioned post suggested these items. Can't find it now.
Using FF Quantum 64.0. The most butt ugly browser in history. Considering going back a few but, don't know.....
Be advised that I had a stroke this past spring so, things aren't quite as well oiled as they used to be :-) It was also advised to get a Speccy snapshot, which I have. I've also run a system health report which said no errors. But, looking at the MTB report is kinda scary. Looking for something very easy to use to fix errors or some hand holding help. Computer memory is good but, my personal memory is shot.
Thanks for reading this mostly nonsensical post. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. If I lose this computer, I'm a goner. Oh, a repair guy in this one horse town wanted $200 just to come by to 'look' at the computer when I said I wanted a new HDD installed. I have a new one and also have a new sdd hd. But, am too lost to try to install them myself. S.M.A.R.T. says all is ok. But, running other check says a few bad sectors. So, I really don't know WTF. So sorry for the rambling....and typos....
