Yesterday I installed trusty server (mostly) successfully, but today on the same server the installer displays a window with the title 'Download installer components' and the message: 'No kernel modules were found. This probably is due to a mismatch between the kernel used by this version of the installer. I've tried both testing and unstable amd64 installer now with the same result 'No kernel modules were found. This probably is due to a mismatch between the kernel used by this version of the installer and the kernel version available in the archive.'
Hello! So about a month ago (maybe two?) I tried installing Ubuntu 16.10 on my dell server to which I got an error during installation saying no kernel modules were found. I ignored it and proceeded with the installation. However, after all is said and done the installation fails. So I thought that it was just something about 16.10 that the dev's might have pushed the night before so I tried 16.04 and again; Does not work.
So, I decide to wait a little to allow some time just in case ubuntu dev's 'done goofed'. Yesterday, I tried installing Ubuntu yet again and end up with the very same error. So afterwards, I tried Debian and again; Very same error. I ended up installing CentOS7 for the time being but I really don't like CentOS7 so can someone help me figure out why this isn't working? Thanks.
All releases are AMD64 and booted from a flash drive formatted as FAT32 using Rufus
