And without that, Marilyn Manson seems a little ordinary, believe it or not — more like a ’90s version of Alice Cooper than ever before. True, Marilyn Manson – Mechanical Animals is the group’s most accessible effort, but Manson should have remembered one thing — demons are never that scary in the light.’.

I've been listening to a lot of my older cds lately. I've got pretty much 200+ 90s alternative and hard rock albums, ranging from radio music (Match Box 20, Vertical Horizon, U2) to Nu-Metal (don't judge me) and some of the more hardcore rock (Alice in Chains, Mega Death, Pantera etc).
Firstly, WOW I really have forgotten how much better the 90s era was for rock music. WTF happened?
Secondly, of all these 200+ albums, 3 really standout.
A Perfect Circle - Mer de Nomes Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness Marilyn Manson - Mechanical Animals.
What's surprised me the most was how good every track is on Mechanical Animals. Every single is 8/10+, not a single shitty filler song. Amazing.
I'm really upset that I never gave this album a chance before, but WOW better late than never.
I'm really now wondering how come this Album wasn't more acclaimed or popular?
